Weekly Club Runs: Winter 2020 

All adult social runs are in operation (in accordance with Athletics NSW 'Return to Sport' Guidelines, 27 May 2020).

IMPORTANT: Please click on the 'Return to Training' regulations if you intend to attend a group training session:

Please note training groups are currently limited to a 1:9 (coach:athletes), with physical distancing (1.5m) at all times. Please confirm your attendance prior to attending training, so we can ensure we have enough coaches (adult social run groups will split with a second 'run leader' nominated where more than 10 runners attending).

UPDATE 15 June 2020: Junior and Senior Squad training sessions (kids and teens) are re-commencing at Cavanbah Centre track.

Online tailored training programs are available on request, for full members and junior/senior squad members. Please speak to your coach or email byronbayrunners@gmail.com for more information.

Current winter run schedule:

TUESDAYS:

Kids/Teens 

  • Junior (primary school) Middle/Long Distance squad: 4.30-5.15pm, Track. Coaches - Caroline, Simon, Finn

  • Senior (high school): Middle/Long competitive: 5.30-6.15pm. Track. Coaches - Caroline, Pete

  • Sprint squad (juniors and seniors combined): 5-6pm: Track. Coaches - Caroline, Naomi

 

Adults: 

Speed-Endurance/Strength session: 6-7pm.Track or hills/road run. Coach Chris - whatsapp group. Coached session - free for full members or gold coin donation per session for social run members.

THURSDAYS

Kids/Teens

SUNDAYS:

Adults : social run (open to full and social run members). 7am recovery run (beach/trail/road) between 6-10km (easy pace with lots of stops).
