Weekly Run Schedule, Winter (April-Sep) 2021
All adult social runs are in operation (in accordance with Athletics NSW 'Return to Sport' Guidelines. Please click on the 'Return to Training' regulations if you intend to attend a group training session:
Please note training groups are for members only (sorry no visitors), but we can accept new local residents who would like to come for a trial run, prior to joining (please email the club). All runs are currently limited to 20 participants, with physical distancing (1.5m) at all times. Please confirm your attendance prior to attending training, so we can ensure we have enough coaches to split groups if needed.
Do not attend training for if you are feeling unwell (even mild symptoms e.g. temperature, headache, respiratory symptoms) or have no symptoms but have visited any COVID 'hotspots' within the last 14 days, as listed here https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates
Online tailored training programs are available on request, for full members and senior squad members. Please speak to your coach or email for more information.
Kids/Teens : Track Sessions, Cavanbah Centre, Ewingsdale Road
Junior (primary school) Middle/Long Distance squad: 4.30-5.30pm Coaches - Simon, Finn, Pete
Senior (high school): Middle/Long Distance squad: 5.30-6.30pm. Coaches - Caroline, Pete
Sprint squads): Juniors 4.30-5.15 Caroline, Seniors 5.30-6.30pm Naomi - sprinters please bring both road shoes and spikes
Speed-Endurance/Strength session: 6-7pm Usually meet around Clarke's Beach Carpark). Coach Chris - whatsapp group. Coached session - free for full members or gold coin donation per session for social run members. Please bring a head/hand torch as runs are on unlit trails/roads
TRACK access available (Cavanbah Centre, Ewingsdale Road) for any adult members 6 -7.30pm (gold coin donation for social run members to cover track fees and lights): interval session.

5-6pm: sprint/hurdles/relay: Coaches Caroline and Naomi
5--6.30pm: middle/long distance: threshold session/timetrials - Coaches Pete and Caroline
6-7pm: Social run (open to full and social run members). Trail/beach/road run. Check club facebook page (click on FB logo above) for details of start location/duration of this week's run; members email the club to be added to the Whatsapp group. Run co-ordinators, Simon, Gary. 5-6.30pm : Track training (threshold session) Coaches Pete and Caroline: threshold session (full members/gold coin social run members)
7-8am: social (recovery) run. Open to seniors squad, adults full and social run members. Usually a mix of beach/trail/road between 6-10km (easy pace with lots of stops).
