Spectator Information

If you’re coming to the rainforest run to cheer on a runner, especially an ultra runner, there are several great spectator spots close to the event hub. You can always stay put at the start/finish line (1), or watch the start a few hundred metres along the road at Eastern Boundary Trail (2). Later in the morning ultra runners should be passing by Minyon Fire Break between 8:00-8:35 (3) which is just the other side of the stepping stone creek crossing. If you’re feeling more adventurous you can walk down to bottom the gorge from Minyon Grass to the turnaround point just the other side of the creek (4). Towards the end of the Ultra you can watch runners at the road crossing near the causeway, just up the road from the event hub.

Up the road at Rummery Park you can see runners pass by the aid station between 6.45-6:55 (1) or a few hundred metres up Peates Mountain Rd between 7:30-8:05 (2). Alternatively you can. hang out at the intersection of Nightcap Range Rd and Telephone Rd between 7:35-8:10 (3). Later in the day you can watch runners on Boggy Creek Trail between 11:20-13:25 (4)
