    * We want Byron Bay Runners to be an inclusive, community club for everyone - regardless of financial circumstances. As a club we have operational costs that we need to cover, but can offer FREE membership for those who may genuinely find the registration fee a financial stretch. You don’t need to provide any detail on your circumstances; simply email the club byronbayrunners@gmail.com if you would like to request this option, as it requires manual registration by our club Registrar (you can’t register online directly yourself due to the invoicing process with Athletics NSW).

All club memberships include:

NSW Athletics ‘Community Athlete’ registration, personal liability insurance, access to weekly training sessions (see Weekly Run Schedule) with Athletics Australia accredited coaches, for full (12 month) adult/masters members access to ‘Members Only’ training plans and additional resources, free access to club track nights (Tuesdays and Thursdays), free entry to club events (Coaches’ clinics, Summer Sizzler Series, Awards Night, Christmas Run) and discounted entry for the inter-club/public events we host (Rainforest Trail Run and ANSW Herb Elliott Twilight Meet).

COMPETITIVE ATHLETES: For runners interested in competing in NSW Athletics track/road/cross country events, please note you will need to take out an additional registration with ANSW (open, concession or regional registration) to be eligible to compete. Please email the Club Registrar at byronbayrunners@gmail.com for details on how to upgrade your membership.

You are welcome to trial one of our weekly runs before signing up (see ‘Weekly Schedule’).

We also love to have visitors to the bay join us for a run; it’s free!

Please get in touch (email: byronbayrunners@gmail.com) if you would like to request a trial run.
