JUNIOR AND SENIOR SQUADS: Thursdays (optional)
Aimed at those runners that have been training with the club for at least 12 months, and aiming to compete at a regional, state or national level.
Middle/Long Distance/Cross Country: meet 5-6pm (Cavanbah Centre) for a road run, timetrial or cross country paced session. Must be able to run 5km continuously to attend this session.
Sprinters: meet 5-6pm (Cavanbah Centre).
Coaches recommend you bring road running shoes and a headtorch to all training sessions, in case of hill or road fartlek/threshold training.
Additional weekly runs Runners over the age of 12yrs also have the option to participate in the 6am Monday morning hill/strength session (meets at Clarks Beach Carpark, finishes at 7am) and for runners 14yrs+ the Adults Thursday 6pm trail run (headtorch is compulsory). Both runs are a mix of beach/trail/road between 6-10km (runners must be able to run 5km continuously and up to 6km to attend).
